Story
Learning to live / cope with mental health issues myself and throughout my family, I am on mission to eradicate the stigma surrounded by this subject, reason being its time to take a stand. To this end I'm overcoming my fear of heights by throwing myself out an airplane (with a parachute hopefully), reason being it's the least I can do to raise awareness to a great cause called The OLLIE Foundation.
In 2016, three parents who had all lost their teenage sons to suicide, vowed to do all they could to prevent other families suffering similar tragedies. The OLLIE Foundation (One Life Lost is Enough) is a registered charity funding suicide intervention skills training for adults working with young people.Since our registration in 2016 we have trained over 400 people in suicide prevention.Your fundraising helps us train even more people, break down the stigma attached to suicide, and increase awareness!
ITS OK NOT TO BE OK!
