My son Dylan, now aged 15, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes aged just 2, following a pancreatic virus. The work of Diabetes UK into research, support and treatment options is essential to the well-being of all diabetes patients throughout the UK. Recent figures suggest that 3.3 million people in the UK have some form of the condition which makes fundraising even more vital.
