We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Hi,

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online - every little really does help.

The reason you're kindly taking the time to read this page is because i've decided to join two very good friends of mine, Chris Spooner and Darren Ellis, in trekking across Peru during May 2008 to raise as much money as possible for the Alzheimer's Society.

Alzheimer's is currently a non-curable and irreversible disease and a sad fact is that by 2025, an estimated one million people in the UK will be suffering from Alzheimer's disease or dementia, so your support and sponsorship will go a long way to help fund the search for a cure. On a personal level, Chris's Grandad sadly passed away several years ago after suffering from the disease. I know this was a very traumatic period for Chris and his family, which is why i wanted to show my support in any way possible.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Alzheimer's Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support,

Neil Stewart.

Ps. Please forward this link onto as many people as possible who you think may want to make a difference for Alzheimers - Thank you.
