As some of you may know, and the rest of you do not, I am taking part in a charity bike ride from London to Paris (Seemed like a sensible idea) in September. The cycle is in aid of The Alzheimer’s Society, a charity that not only pioneers research into understanding the causes and develops cures for Alzheimer’s but provides invaluable care for both patients and their families. With the population aging, Dementia is becoming an increasingly common condition, it can only be beaten and the lives of sufferers and their family’s improved through the work of charities like The Alzheimer’s Society.
