Story

STOP PRESS:  WE COMPLETED THE EVENT ON SUNDAY 3RD JUNE IN A TIME OF 5 HOURS AND 8 MINUTES.  THE NEW PICTURE WAS TAKEN AFTER THE EVENT AND PRIOR TO RETIRING TO THE PUB!  YOU CAN STILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE CAUSE BY FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THIS PAGE.

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Myself, my brother Hugh and another ex-4RTR Officer, Niall Macnaughton are competing in the Weymouth half ironman triathlon to raise money for Combat Stress.  This is an extremely important charity and provides residential treatment to very traumatised ex service men and women.  As some of you know I now look after a work force of over 30 disabled ex service men at the Lady Haig Poppy Factory, and I have seen at first hand the incredible things that Combat Stress achieve.  Treatments however are very expensive and they rely almost exclusively on voluntary donations.

Therefore Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: COMBAT STRESS will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.

Charlie, Hugh and Niall

N.B  I couldn't find a picture of us all training so I post an old favorite of the Herminator impersonating my good self!
