Update: 25/03/2013
It's been a long year since breaking my ankle! Had lots of physio and had to start running from scratch again but not long till the marathon now! Whilst I'm not hoping to finish it in any record time, just to complete 26.2 miles with my glass ankle is good enough for me! Thanks to everyone for their support since the beginning, if it wasn't for that and your sponsorship I definitely would have given up after all my broken bones!
Update: 05/03/2012
Seems I was tempting fate with my last post. One broken leg later and I'm having to defer my entry to the marathon for one more year! So will eventually be back training (and learning to walk again!) for the 2013 London Marathon! No matter how long it takes, I will do the Marathon!!
Update: 3/11/2011
Got my confirmation through for the London Marathon 2012 so time to give it another go! Training starts today, with a 10k in two weeks - 5 Months to go till the 26.2 miles! Thanks to everyone whose sponsored me so far, wont be breaking any bones before this one (hopefully!) .

Due to a broken collarbone, I'm having to wait another year to complete the London Marathon. Thanks to everyone whose donated for me so far, its not in vain! I am going to complete it, its just going to take me a bit longer to do :/

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
From going from not being able to run a mile, to a 3 mile relay, to the Great North Run, my final fund-raising challenge is to complete the London Marathon!
If you could please donate what you can it would be greatly appreciated. I need to raise £800 by the end of January and a total of £1600 by April! Not an easy feat! So any donation is more than welcome.
Mencaps a great charity that works with people who have a learning disability and helps support them and their familys to live their life as they choose and as independently as possible. For more information, please visit http://www.mencap.org.uk
Thank you,
Nick
