On 20th September 2009 I will be running the Great North Run for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. It will be the longest run I've ever attempted and it's going to be a challenge!

I am hoping to raise at least £400 for Breakthrough. I chose this charity because last year my Mum was one of the thousands of women who were diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK. Breakthrough is the UK's leading charity committed to fighting breast cancer through research, campaigning and education. Charities like Breakthrough are making a real difference in improving treatment options and survival rates and they can only continue to do so with our support and donations.
