Hi Folks...
This is it I have finally committed to doing something completely out of the box, at least for me. It has been said that the Skydive experience is something else and if the chance comes along... go grab it!!! so here we go.
Well on the 4th Sept 2010, I and several colleagues will be jumping from an aircraft at 12000 feet, Free falling for the first 5000 feet or so in 50 seconds, then enjoying a steady drift back to earth lasting around 6 minutes and landing close to the bar for a stiff drink.
We are doing this in aid of our nominated charity "Greenfinger's" which is an industry based charity that builds gardens for children's hospices, so far we have raised around £35000 over the last 18 months, at Hillier.
Our target is £2000 plus, if we can reach £5000 that would be truly amazing.
Please if you are able to support this venture in anyway no matter how large or small, we would be eternally grateful. There are many calls upon us and many worthy causes to support, but this one is close to many. For me well, compared to the very real fear faced by so many children and their parents when dealing with a terminal condition before life has really started, jumping from a great height will be a "picnic"
