(P.S I WILL PLACE A PICTURE OF ME WITH A BALD HEAD ON THIS PAGE SOON)

Hi All (updated 21.10.08)

Thanks so much for all your top donations!Amazing!

That is it now enough is enough as Bex (the Mrs) does not want me to shave all my hair off so slow down you lot you are being too generous!

I did not think you would really raise this much?

Obviously I have said I will shave my hair off and I will stand by my word if you hit the £555.55 I will shave the lot off all my hair to a Grade 1 or someone will?

But I think it will be too tough in the present climate for you to hit my target

So thanks for trying keep well and be happy

Thanks again to all of you for saving my hair even if most of them are grey as it would take months/years on top to grow back

Big thanks

Nigel

Hi All

Please sponsor me NOW after you have read below its so easy on Justgiving because you may forget later

Well I maybe not running all the way? lets say jogging for 10 miles!!!!!!!!!

I have never run this far ever!!

The most I have run is 10KM (6 miles) it took me 1 hour this is going to be nearly double this time 2 hour run.(1 hr 40mins in my dreams!)

The longest I have jogged for in the last 6 weeks is 3 miles this morning and I feel whacked and knees twinging slightly

I am now 40 years old not as easy as it used to be 20 years ago!!!

But what the hell you only live once and its for a great charity Macmillan

It is nearly a year since my Business partner/top mate Brian Nichols died at 52 years old after suffering from back ache?/Cancer for nearly a year.

He was so well cared for by a lot of people including Macmillan nurses

He told me they were like his 'ANGELS'

I owe it to Bri and Macmillan to try and complete this 10 mile run for him and them

I may have raised over £1k earlier this year for running for St Lukes Hospice in the London 10K (6 Miles) (see pic) and I thank everyone who sponsored me and....

I know we are in recession!! and the Mrs said I can`t ask people to sponsor me again in the same year!

But I think even if its only a pound or a fiver every little helps and I may hit my target.

I can assure you I am unfit again due to knee twinges and lack of running for the last 6 weeks?

and too much of the lovely food and beer!

I shouldn't really be trying to run 10 miles yes 10 miles not 10K due to my knee twinges but I have to do it!!

So please help me cross that finish line and meet my FUNDRAISING TARGET

I hoped to finish 10 miles in less than 1 hour 40 minutes but in reality I will pleased if I finish at all the way my knees feel

make it easier for me dig deep and I will have no choice but to enter and finish

My family have started the donations off I cant afford it but it has to be done

please forward the web address www.justgiving.com/nigelrosenthal to anyone else who may know me

Big Thanks

Nigel
