Story
After thinking for a while of something to do for charity I decided to tough mudder in July this year . The reason behind this is my youngest daughter allana. Me and my partner were on holiday in April 2013, we were just about to leave for our train when my partner clare started bleeding heavily and was 31 weeks pregnant at the time. She was rushed to Scarborough hospital and within the space of thirty minutes was having an emergency section to deliver our child, this however was just the start of the nightmare as they could not stop the bleeding and had to perform a hysterectomy at the same time , I didn't know what was going on and every one was panicking and at one point a nurse came in and told me to to call the family to come say goodbye as there was nothing more they could do .... luckily there was some sort of miracle that day and 30+ pints of transfused blood later she started clotting again and survived x our tiny 3 pound daughter was taken via ambulance to barnsley hospitals SCBU and looked after for the first few weeks of her life whire clare was still in Scarborough... 9 days later she finally got hold her baby girl and we realised just how lucky we truly were .
So after nearly five years I've now mustered up the courage to return the favour as much as I can so will be raising money for the tiny hearts appeal ...which provides care to babys just like ours , any one that knows me knows I'm a big lad with a love for food so doing a ten miles run with obstacles thrown in well.... that's just not me ha.... so please donate as much or as little as you Can everything counts x thank you
