Around about 12 years ago (pretty much to the day of the Birmingham 10km) I was lucky enough to be watching Guys and Dolls in Southampton. On that journey, myself and my mum met Christian Patterson, one of the most genuinely lovely people we had ever met. 

What sparked at that Stage Door was a friendship and support for Christian, his family and his career. 

Five years later on the 13th September 2011, Christian and Michelle’s youngest son, Harry Nye Patterson tragically died in an accident at the age of 5. 

Harry's Fund has been set up to keep the memory of Harry alive in everyones thoughts. He was a typical 5 year old who loved life, made people laugh and was as wicked as they come. The 5 years that he was with us, he touched everyones lives, the impact he had on everyone was amazing.
