Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.On 20th September 2010 we will begin our 6 day hike to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Our aim is to raise money in aid of two fantastic projects in Ethiopia. The first of these projects is a scheme which provides supplementary food, such as milk and vegetables to 439 children in Lalibela and Shebedino. Nutritional food is essential to children’s development, effecting their growth, their motor and brain functions. This project will ensure that the children receive a healthy, nutritionally sound diet helping them to meet their full potential.
In addition to this we will be raising funds to build two classrooms in Jimma. The additional classrooms will improve the environment in which the children study, helping them to partake more fully in lessons. The increased space, and not having to share with other classes will allow them to concentrate more fully on what they are being taught.We hope you all will donate generously. Thanks again : )
