About a week ago, I foolishly agreed to take part in this year's Nottingham Half Marathon.

If you know me, this will come as a shock as I'm the least athletic person I know - but I have finished my first week of training (as of the 1/2/2010).

Can currently hobble 4Km in 35 mins (just need to work up to the 21Km).

When thinking of raising some money for charity, I thought that the Nottingham Neonatal Trust would be the best people to benefit.
My son, Ben, decided to stop breathing, briefly, the day he was born and the staff at QMC sprang into action to save him - he spent a few days on the neonatal unit and the staff were amazing.
I hope you can help me raise a bit of cash for a good cause.
