Story
On Sunday 12th September, the Technical Manager, the Deputy Head of Lighting & Sound, the Deputy Stage Manager, the Fundraising & Development Manager and the Customer Relations Manager at Nottingham Playhouse will take part in the Cooper Parry Corporate Challenge - running 13.1 miles, between them....dressed as 5 golden eggs!
We're raising money for the Child's Voice Appeal, the initiative launched by Childline and the NSPCC, which is the official charity of the Nottingham Playhouse pantomime this year - Mother Goose.
By lending the support of Mother Goose (and five slightly un-fit members of staff dressed as golden eggs!) we're raising money to expand helpline services for
adults with a concern about a child, as well as the ongoing funding
of more counsellors to answer more calls. The Child's Voice appeal has allowed the
NSPCC to develop Childline to enable children to make contact through
e-mail, message boards or one-to-one chats. It's a brilliant cause - so please do give generously!
Mother Goose runs at Nottingham Playhouse from Friday 26th November until Saturday 22nd January 2011.
