Story
On August 19th 2006, 9 National Express Group graduates took part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Charity Challenge. This was a gruelling, 12 hour walk over the three highest peaks in Yorkshire, in order to raise money for the National Missing Persons Helpline.
The walk was immensely tough, both in duration, distance and due to the monsoon-esque weather conditions, but a thoroughly rewarding experience which was captured by BBC3 film cameras for footage for a forthcoming series in the Autumn entitled 'Runaways'.
Please support the Graduates efforts on this walk. By donating you can help families and friends reunite, and support the fantastic work that NMPH do.
Our target is to raise £5,500 - the approximate cost to NMPH of funding incoming calls to their Runaway Helpline for an entire year. This service offers confidential advice and support to young runaways enabling them to explore the options available to them.
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us securely online.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: National Missing Persons Helpline will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us!
Many thanks for your support.
