We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

Cousins Gareth Jones, Matt Soul, Tom Napper and a to be confirmed fouth member are going to canoe 3000 km's down the river Danube in aid of Cancer Research and Cornwall Hospice Care.

The journey will start in April 2009, and will take around 6 weeks, if they can maintain 8 - 10 hours paddling per day.

"We will be trying to conquer the river in the shortest possible time, unsupported, so with no back up team and carrying our own supplies of food and drink, if we run out we will only be able to except charity or what we can muster ourselves. We will have to camp everynight, without the luxury of commercial sites except where essential because of Environmental concerns in the National Parks."

It's going to be quite a challenge, not least of all because none of the three have any kayaking experience to date!

We hope the challenge will gain the best possible coverage and donation for each of our charities

We are very grateful for any donations, which from this page, will go directly to Cancer Research UK, not towards funding the trip

Thank you for visiting our site,

Regards

Gareth Jones, Matt Soul and Tommy Napper.
