All money raised will go to the Orphans General Fund. The fund helps projects that benefit groups of orphans and their families.
These include:
Education
Medical care
Shelter
Income generation (small business loans, livestock,etc)
Courses in language, literacy, cooking, sewing, etc
Fun outings and festive gifts
Summer camps
School Equipment
Ramadan and Qurbani food baskets
Prophet Mohammed (peace be
upon him) lost both of his parents at a very young age and enlightened us to help orphans:
"I and the one who guards the orphan, whether for himself or for someone else, will be like these two in the Garden (Jannah), when he has taqwa," indicating his middle and index fingers.
"..Blessed is the wealth of a Muslim from which he gives to the poor, the orphans and to needy travellers’
