Story

They did it!The intrepid over the hill mob left the safety of Charlbury and the Rose & Crown to climb the 3 highest peaks in the UK in just 24 hours in support of an incredible new Charlbury charity called SpecialEffect.

Nick Moglia was in our advance party and tackled Snowdon, Ben Nevis and Scaffel Pike over the second bank holiday in May. Check out the pictures below!

Rod Densham,  Ant Chilton - Murphy, Andrew Phillpott, and then last but no means least  SpecialEffect Trustee, Simon Bennett tackled the 3 peaks over last weekend in some of the most awful weather local guides have seen in years, and if you don't believe us check this link! They were also joined by Ed Dorling and Tom and and Bill Donegan who also have justgiving pages.

About SpecialEffect

By using cutting edge technology, the charity makes a real difference to the quality of life of people with disabilities, whether it be by helping them to play a computer game (often for the first time) or helping people who have suffered a serious injury or illness to rebuild their lives in the same way that inspirational SpecialEffect Patron (www.matthampson.co.uk)  has done.

We would all appreciate any support you can give SpecialEffect by sponsoring the team! Please check out the youtube music video on the left that shows the difference that your support can make to the people that SpecialEffect help.
