Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Update on my story below 23/08/23 my story continues:
Following the successful and really enjoyable charity night, where more awareness and money was raised, im now moving onto my 4th walk, this one will be 100k, to say i have the bug is an understatement.
Each day is still a battle, but i try to stay as positive as i can and doing these walks, not only helps me physically but its helps my mental state more than i could ever imagine.

After doing 2 walks so far for Ultra Challenges with my 3rd coming up on the 24th June we are also holding a charity gala dinner on Friday 16th June to raise more money and awareness for KCUK. We are hoping if successful to make this an annual event.
On the night we will be holding a raffle and an auction to add to these funds and hopefully lots of you can walk away with some lovely prizes which local businesses have been so kind to donate.
Those attending the night thank you so much for taking the time to come and join us on such a special evening.
As you all know I was raising money for Kidney Cancer UK (full story below)
Unexpectedly my Dad past away on Sunday the 19th February 2023, my Birthday.
The walk I recently completed was the last time I saw my Dad, he met me at the finishing line with my family. It was the last time my wife and children spent time with there Grandad and it was special. I know how hard it was for him to come down to London that day as he wasn’t well, but he did and this goes to show what a man he was, he wasn’t going to miss it for the world, and I hope he understood how much that meant to me.
As a family (but mainly my sisters idea) we have decided that my Dad would have loved any donations or instead of money being spent on flowers, that donations to A cause close to all of our hearts would have been what he wanted.
Love ya Dad x
My name is Paul. I am a Husband and Father of 3 children. In February this year just after my 40th birthday I received a phone call to advise that an incidental finding was found on a recent MRI scan. This incidental finding turned out to be a cancerous tumour on my left kidney. Due to the location of this tumour, it was decided that a radical nephrectomy was needed. I was very lucky that this was found when it was and therefore this is the reason for this page to raise awareness for others so they can too be as lucky as I have been. KCUK have been amazing throughout my journey and I wish to raise money for them by doing these ultra-challenges throughout 2023 and beyond. I would love your support throughout my journey.
