Devastating earthquakes have killed thousands of people in Turkey and Syria.

Story

Please help us raise funds for the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Earthquake appeal.

My 7 and 6 year old daughters, and Dr Ammar Hourani’s 7 year old son walked from Ealing Broadway to Bond Street station to raised money for DEC on 12th Feb.

UPDATE: We are not going to cycle 15km on 25th Feb 2023 hoping to reach our target of £10k.

A series of devastating earthquakes have hit southern Turkey and north-west Syria killing at least 24,000 people and injuring many more.

People have been left without shelter in freezing winter conditions. Access to clean water will likely be a challenge, bringing the risk of cholera and other diseases.

DEC charities and their local partners are among the first responders, working with locally-led relief efforts to ensure people have food and clean water.

The UK government will match pound to pound raised for DEC, up to £5m.

Please donate to support the children in raising these funds. If you are children interested in joining the 15km London Cycle on 25th Feb, please get in touch with Mukhtar Bizrah or Ammar Hourani.
