Story
Ben Harris, Tom Carlyle, Sam Head and Edward Fane Trefusis (with a guest appearance from Sam Hockenhull) and I will be running the Two Moors Way (103 miles) from Ivybridge in South Devon to Lynmouth.
We’re taking on the challenge in memory of Moddie Lambert (Mum), who sadly lost her battle with pancreatic cancer in September 2025.
We aim to complete the route over three days (28–30 May 2026), following a path across Dartmoor and Exmoor.
We’re raising money for Devon Air Ambulance, who airlifted Mum to hospital after a riding accident five years ago. The care she received was exceptional and it was a charity she supported religiously.
We haven’t set a fundraising target - our aim is simply to raise as much as possible for a cause that meant a lot to Mum and continues to help others every day.
Any support, big or small, would be hugely appreciated.
I’ll also be documenting the challenge on Instagram for anyone who would like to follow our progress.
Devon Air Ambulance is the charitable trust which raises the funds to keep two emergency air ambulances flying and four critical care cars on the road, delivering enhanced and critical care across Devon.
We are proud to be independent of Government funding; Every penny raised is with thanks to the generosity of the communities, businesses and friends of Devon.
Thank you for your support - it really does save lives!
