Story
Axiologik exists to have societal purpose and part of that purpose is to use the power of the organisation to give back in many ways across the spectrum of support needs. From the work we do with the Leeds Community Foundation, to Fare Share, to the Boycott Your Bed initiative.
On the 12th of August 2023, some of the Axiologik teammates will be taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge, climbing Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, within 12 hours to raise significant funds for The Haemophilia Society.
The Haemophilia Society is no different in relying on support from the community and has a more direct connection. In 2017, Gabriel was born in to one of our team members’ family. With no medical history of disorders in the family, it was a huge shock when he was diagnosed, within hours, of severe Haemophilia A. This meant that he had to have a system of care wrapped around him consisting of haematology, social care, physiotherapy and more. Much of the support that flows through this care system is funded from charities, notably the Haemophilia Society.
This isn’t just informational support; this has extended to buying and donating specialist medical equipment such as mobile joint imaging devices to enable physiotherapy teams to work in the community.
All donations are truly appreciated!
