Story
Next year, I’m challenging myself like NEVER before in the World’s Toughest Mudder! It is the most extreme, imposing, pulse-pounding, heart-stopping 24-hour obstacle course challenge on the planet. For those of you who know me, I cant stand running so this one will be extra tough.
So why do put myself though 24 hours of running? Because every step I take will be for the children at Great Ormond Street Hospital, including my own daughter, who battles a rare form of ERF related Craniosynostosis. We found out that the ERF gene mutation stems from myself, so this is extra personal. She is currently undergoing multiple examinations and being closely watched by the team at GOSH. With potential skull surgery looming, I want to give back to the people who have already done so much for my daughter. Watching her face daily challenges has shown me the strength and courage these kids have and I want to do everything I can to support them.
I’m asking for your support to help raise funds for GOSH, ensuring children like my daughter continue to receive the world-class care, groundbreaking treatments, and hope for the future.
Every donation counts and will help keep me moving through the mud, the obstacles, and the exhaustion.
