5 Challenges for 1 Angel
In 2026, with the help of friends and family I’ll be taking on five endurance challenges in memory of our beautiful daughter Orla, while raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The challenge is called 5 Challenges for 1 Angel, and across the next few months I’ll be completing:
- London Landmarks Half Marathon (21.1KM) – 12th April
- TCS London Marathon (42.2KM) – 26th April
- Race to the Kings Non-Stop Ultra (100KM) – 20th June
- Orla’s Ultra 24‑Hour Run (120KM) – 11th–12th July
- APEX Everest Challenge (100KM + 8500 elevation) – 10th September
We are aiming to raise £350,000 to fund an entire patient room in the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street — a place that saved Orla’s life on multiple occasions times and gave her the best chance of surviving this horrible disease.
This room will be named in Orla’s memory and will help children and families going through the hardest of times.
