Story
Hi Everyone,
As some of you may know, I’ll be running the Exeter Marathon on Sunday 3rd May. To help make all the training worthwhile and to help push me through those final miles, I’m raising money for an incredible Southwest charity, SWEDA.
SWEDA provides vital preventative and recovery-focused support for people affected by eating disorders, helping to reduce hospitalisation and address the root causes. They are the only charity in the South & West of England offering this kind of support.
This cause is very personal to me. SWEDA supported someone very close to me during some of their darkest moments while they were waiting for hospital care. Their help, on and off over the years, has made a huge difference to my family, and I honestly believe things would look very different without them.
I’d really love to give something back to a charity that has given so much to us. If you’re able to donate or share this, it would mean a lot and will definitely help carry me to the finish line.
Thank you so much for your support.
Aaron
More information on the cause you will be helping;
Eating disorders are extremely serious. They can affect anyone. They can be life threatening.
Nobody should have to face one alone.
That's why SWEDA exists. SWEDA is a local charity dedicated to providing specialist support to people affected by eating disorders in the South & West of England.
SWEDA's specialist counsellors and therapists are here to support children, young people and adults on their recovery journeys. They provide counselling, therapy, support groups, support calls, nutritional guidance, and educational outreach.
