Hello my names Abbie

Last year me and friends camped and hiked snowdon in the aid to raise money for an amazing charity called land lark. This year wanting to raise money again for the amazing work land lark fund I am now wanting to take on Ben Nevis! Camping and hiking will be another challenge which is all completely out my comfort zone.

I am a domestic violence survivor. Fortunately I was lucky enough to be able to get away to get the help and support I needed, which so many women and children just don’t have access too. I have come such a long way since I fled that relationship .I have my amazing two boys from it that kept me going through the hardest of times and the amazing support I had. I’m very passionate about teaching my boys and given them the tools as the grow to navigate this life we live.

Enabling young people to have age-appropriate conversations and equipping them with the tools to recognise health and unhealthy behaviours helps break the cycles of abuse and empowers the next generation to prevent domestic abuse and gender-based violence.

Since its inception, landlark has funded health relationship workshops in Cambridgeshire schools, facilitated by tender, the inspirational domestic abuse charity. This work has reached over 200 students , ranging from year 6 to year 12, and that number continues to grow. Landlark collaborates with local schools, building relationships and funding this crucial relationship education.
