We are taking part in Acorns School Council Break the Rules day and Guide Dogs Fund Race - a sports day track race with a twist. Every participant is blindfolded and uses a rope as their guide.

Guide Dogs have created this challenge, especially for schools, to start important conversations about sight loss and being more inclusive and accessible. Fund Race will also raise vital funds to support their life-changing services for children with sight loss and their families across the UK.

In the UK today, there are around 28,000 children who have a vision impairment. With the right skills, tools and adaptations, children with sight loss can do the same things as everyone else.
