This September, I am cycling from London to Paris for Furnishing Futures!

The iconic London to Paris cycle will take us from Blackheath in London to the Eiffel Tower in Paris - a total of 190 miles (+300KM!) and 8,400ft of climbing over 3 days

I am part of a team from Fidelity International performing this challenge in aid of Furnishing Futures, our partner charity. Furnishing Futures is a wonderful charity that transforms empty social housing into fully furnished homes for women and children escaping domestic abuse.

Many survivors are rehoused with nothing – no flooring, no beds, no curtains and no basic furniture. Furnishing Futures steps in to change that. Their team creates safe, healing homes using as-new furniture from the interiors industry that would otherwise go to waste.

I’m aiming to raise £2000, enough to cover the essential items a family needs when starting again.
