London to Paris 2026 – Fidelity International Riding for Furnishing Futures

Raising money for Furnishing Futures

London to Paris for Furnishing Futures · 10 September 2026 to 14 September 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

The iconic London to Paris cycle takes you from Blackheath in London to the Eiffel Tower in Paris to raise funds for Furnishing Futures. Every mile cycled helps turn empty properties into safe, furnished homes for survivors rebuilding their lives.

Story

his September, colleagues from Fidelity International are taking on the London to Paris cycle challenge in support of Furnishing Futures – a charity that transforms empty social housing into fully furnished, healing homes for women and children escaping domestic abuse.

When survivors are rehoused, they often arrive to completely empty properties – no flooring, no beds, no curtains, no basic furniture. Just four bare walls. Starting again is incredibly hard without the essentials most of us take for granted.

Furnishing Futures changes that. Working with the interiors industry, they repurpose as-new furniture that would otherwise go to waste and create safe, dignified homes where families can begin again with stability and hope.

As a team, we are aiming to raise significant funds to support this work. My personal target is £2,000, which would cover the essential items a family needs when rebuilding their lives.

To give you a sense of impact:

£50 – Wellbeing kit for a woman beginning again

£100 – Baby & Children’s Bundle

£150 – Kitchen Essentials Bundle

£300 – Full Home Bundle

Every donation, large or small, directly helps create a safe, comfortable and healing environment for a family who has already been through more than most of us can imagine.

We know times are challenging for many people, so please only give if you’re able. If you can’t donate, your encouragement and support are genuinely appreciated.
