Mental Health Matters is a national charity with over 40 years of experience in delivering high-quality mental health services. We support 15,000 people every month to achieve their recovery goals, and we are always seeking to develop and expand our services to reach more people in need.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

"In the last year, I have been physically sick due to stress and anxiety, self-harmed, and thought about ending my life. Support from mental health services has helped me get past these low points. I want to help make sure that these services are available when other people need them" ~ Adam

"I'm supporting Mental Health Matters on this walk as I have had to use mental health services myself during tough times. I have battled depression for a very long time, and with counselling, therapy, and medication I am winning" ~ Jamie

For these reasons, we will be walking the 84 miles of the Hadrian's Wall Footpath from Bowness to Wallsend, from 9th to 11th August, to support Mental Health Matters and Tyneside Mind.
