Delivering ambulances and medical aid to Ukraine

Story

One of my besties from Exeter, fellow lover of rugby and history, Rhod and I are volunteering to travel with Mighty Convoy, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to delivering life-saving vehicles and aid to Ukraine.

We are raising funds to buy second-hand ambulances/pick up trucks, fill them with critical medical supplies, and then Dodge & I will be part of a convoy in September driving them in short order to Ukraine where they are desperately needed. We no doubt will be talking Lions, English & Welsh Rugby, much history and singing Delilah along the way to keep ourselves awake for the non-stop driving required.

As the war continues, Ukraine’s medical system is under immense strain. Hospitals and first responders are overwhelmed, and many ambulances have been destroyed. These vehicles are vital for ferrying wounded soldiers and civilians from field stations to hospitals, often making the difference between life and death.

It costs £7000 to buy an ambulance and drive it to Ukraine. These vehicles and equipment are making a huge impact in a country that continues to be in desperate need of our support. Importantly for me as well this is linked to a Christian charity providing this assistance.

Please do donate whatever you can today and join us in supporting this well worthwhile charity & convoy.

Cheers
