Update

Hi everyone – ICMDA’s partnership with Mighty Convoy is still going strong, and our help is still much needed in Ukraine.

Mighty Convoy has sent 99 vehicles so far to Ukraine, and we wanted to share a short update that gives a little more insight into our work together and the impact your support is helping to create.

The need

The ongoing war in Ukraine is creating an urgent need for ambulances and medical equipment. We are responding by partnering with Mighty Convoy and the Christian Medical Association of Ukraine to deliver vital humanitarian aid, ambulances and other rescue vehicles where they are needed most.

There are three ways to get involved today:

1. Donate on this site via the blue GIVE NOW button and your money will go straight to this project. We are grateful for contributions of any size.

2. Click the orange START FUNDRAISING button and fundraise directly. The money you raise from family and friends will contribute towards our target.

3. Use the Contact Us form at www.mightyconvoy.org to apply to fundraise for an ambulance and drive to Ukraine as part of a convoy. We work with individuals, companies and friends who wish to raise - or pay - £7,000 to buy an ambulance or other rescue vehicle in the UK and drive to Ukraine where it will save lives.

Join us and make a difference

It costs £7,000 to buy and deliver an ambulance to Ukraine and £3,500 to commission a freight lorry to transport donated aid from the UK.

We have already raised over £300,000. We now need more volunteers and donations to maintain the flow of aid.

Your support goes a long way

Everyone at Mighty Convoy is a volunteer, including drivers and convoy leaders; even our campaign video was created free of charge (thank you, Pensara!) As a result, 95% of all contributions to this campaign go directly to pay for the hard costs necessary to deliver aid, with only 5% used to cover ICMDA’s admin costs, such as staff time spent processing donations and commissioning lorries.
