I’m taking on Bromley Mencap’s Cycle Ride challenge to help support families with disabled children.

Bromley Mencap has been supporting disabled people and their families for 75 years, helping them live more independent, connected and fulfilling lives. One of their key services, Family Futures, provides early, preventative support by offering advice, building confidence, and connecting families before challenges reach crisis point.

Sarah, mum of James, shared how overwhelming life felt after his diagnosis, not knowing where to turn. Through Family Futures, they accessed guidance, emotional support, and met other families who understood what they were going through. With that support, they felt more confident navigating daily life and getting the help their child needed.
