Some of you will know Anne, Clara ( daughter No 5 ) and I are running London Marathon on April 26. This is the first marathon we have run together so should be special for our family.

This year we are running for Charity and have chosen The Samaritans. The work these volunteers do can be truly life saving. Being on a call for someone in their desperate moments is a precious thing. So many needy people, their friends and family benefit from these wonderful volunteers. It’s unknown how many lives have been and continue to be saved but we do know the work is even more essential when times become difficult and personal pressures build, these times many people face today.

So I am reaching out to my wonderful network to support us in supporting this charity.

We have a target of £2500 and if you get us to £1250 I will match your generosity £1 for £1 and contribute the remaining £1250 to reach this target.

Any contribution however small is truly appreciated and will be matched until we reach the target. So let’s get this done for this incredible charity and support those people who support so many others in their moment of need.
