We are joining the Newcastle Big Ride for Palestine. We ride against genocide and occupation. We are raising money for the Middle East Children’s Alliance, to provide life-saving aid.

Children make up half of the population of Gaza. They have been killed, injured, displaced and traumatised. There is little water or food, and no electricity. MECA have been working for the rights and wellbeing of children in Palestine for 36 years. Right now they are providing emergency aid to children and families in need. Hundreds of cyclists are taking part in the Big Ride for Palestine. The Big Ride for Palestine has been riding in the UK and Ireland for over ten years following the invasion of Gaza in 2014. We have been protesting the apartheid and ethnic cleansing by the Israeli state against Palestinians since 1948.
