Story
As serving and former Royal Marines Commandos, we are raising money for the Royal Marines Charity and the Special Boat Service Association. We will be completing a 12 mile speedmarch as a troop from the war memorial in Barnstaple up the Tarka trail past Royal Marines Barracks Chivenor towards Crowe Point. We will then make our way across the Braunton Burrows and up the beach to The Saunton Sands Hotel.
SBSA - Supporting those who serve from the shadows, The Special Boat Service Association is committed to supporting past, present and future Operators and their dependants, ensuring a lifetime of support where necessary. The SBSA is a charity that provides an extended welfare system to its members. There are, sadly, a growing number of members and their dependants for whom, through physical or psychological injury, bereavement or adversity, the SBSA now has a responsibility. The SBSA fills a delta of need which, because of the special nature of the people they support, raises that support to a level of the very highest quality which is deemed to be appropriate. Your donations will make a tangible difference to the support given by the SBSA.
