Story
Surrey Search & Rescue is a voluntary specialist search team which assists the emergency services. Primarily to help find missing vulnerable people we also support in water rescue incidents and wildfires. We are on-call 24 hours a day, with a team of 70+ people and search dogs, to respond across Surrey and surrounding areas.
I have been on the team for 8 years now and recently had a bit of a break for various reasons but, having just retired I am hoping to get back into it a bit more.
Starting in St Bees on the west coast I will walk through The Lake District, The Yorkshire Dales, and then The North York Moors to finish 192 miles later in Robin Hoods Bay (Hopefully!).
