In September 2024, my brother Oliver passed away following a long and hard battle with Sarcoma, during this battle Oliver fought bravely and courageously, he inspired us all and still continues to.

Oliver’s illness doesn’t define him, his strength, resilience and courage to go on does. Oliver was an incredible footballer, an intelligent and funny boy who wasn’t afraid of anyone or anything, he was and always will be loved by everyone who knew him.

On April the 26th of this year, Myself (Tom Owen), Alex Grimmett and Alex Harfouche will run the London marathon (4 days before Oliver’s 18th Birthday.

Alex Grimmett was somebody who Oliver looked up and always wanted to be around, Alex Harfouche was somebody who Oliver found funny and loved being in his company. Both Alex’s were ever present during Oliver’s battle with Sarcoma and were remarkable friends to Oliver, who he knew he could always count on.
