Story
In September 2024, my brother Oliver passed away following a long and hard battle with Sarcoma, during this time Oliver fought bravely and courageously, he inspired us all and still continues to.
Oliver’s illness doesn’t define him, his strength, resilience and courage to go on does. Oliver was an incredible footballer, an intelligent and funny boy who wasn’t afraid of anyone or anything, he was and always will be loved by everyone who knew him.
On April the 26th of this year, Myself (Tom Owen), Alex Grimmett and Alex Harfouche will run the London marathon (4 days before Oliver’s 18th Birthday).
Alex Grimmett was somebody who Oliver looked up too and always wanted to be around. Alex Harfouche was somebody who Oliver found funny and loved being in his company. Both Alex’s were ever present during Oliver’s treatment with Sarcoma and were remarkable friends to him and who he knew he could always count and depend on. Running this together means a lot to all of us. We know it will be tough but nothing as tough as what Oliver went through.
Please if you can, donate what you can so we can battle this disease together and help and support other children just like Oliver. Thank you for all your support.
For Oliver….ALWAYS.
