Story
This September I’ve, possibly foolishly, signed up to take on the London to Brighton Cycle Ride with my brother-in-law Ryan in memory of my niece Thea, who tragically passed away last February.
Now I know what you’re thinking, I’m more spare tyre than bike inner tube, and you’re absolutely right – this is very much out of my comfort zone! Thankfully I’m reliably informed that it’s a relatively short and flat course – there certainly aren’t any steep inclines around Brighton…….
Joking aside, we’re also doing this to raise funds for St George’s Hospital Charity, who helped care for Thea in her final days and supported our family.
The team at St George’s did everything they possibly could for Thea. They treated her with dignity, compassion and incredible professionalism, and looked after Ellisa and her family in their hour of need.
Every donation, big or small, will help St George’s continue their vital work, supporting children and families when they need it most.
