Hello, my name is Alex 👋🏻, and on June 7th I’ll be running my first half marathon in Swansea to raise funds for Matthew’s House.

I’ve chosen to support Matthew’s House because of the incredible hospitality they show day in, day out. They don’t just provide meals — they provide warmth, kindness, dignity, and a safe, welcoming space for people who need it most. Their team and volunteers consistently go above and beyond, offering compassion without judgement and support without conditions.

My initial fundraising goal is £250, but I’m really hoping we can smash that target together. Every pound raised will go towards helping Matthew’s House continue the incredible work they do across Swansea.

Training for my first half marathon is going to tough and a real challenge, but it’s nothing compared to the daily challenges many people face. Knowing I’m running to support such an amazing cause keeps me going through every mile.
