Very sadly earlier this year Tilly Worthington passed away aged just 13. Her dad, Pete, who is a close friend and colleague is undertaking three events over the next 12 months to keep the memory of his beautiful daughter alive.

I am taking part in at least one of the events - the Manchester Marathon in April 27.

This will be the first marathon that I will have attempted, my previous longest distance being a paltry 12km!

We are hoping to raise as much money as possible for Derian house Children's Hospice who cared for Tilly with dignity while she was at rest and also looked after Pete at the very sad time.
