Story
In April 2026, I’ll be running (or more likely, jog-walking!) the London Landmarks Half Marathon in aid of Guide Dogs UK—a charity that is already incredibly close to my heart.
Our daughter Ivy is an extraordinary little girl. She’s resilient, sassy, strong—and she sees the world in her own unique way. Ivy is legally blind and she lives with cone-rod dystrophy, nystagmus, severe photophobia, and an endless amount of determination.
We’ve seen firsthand how vital early support and accessibility are for children like Ivy. That’s why I’m taking on this challenge—not just to raise money, but to raise awareness and pave the way for a brighter, more inclusive future for kids with vision impairments, and especially our Ivy.
Guide Dogs UK does incredible work providing life-changing services for visually impaired people, including children. From accessible tech and mobility training to family support and, of course, the amazing guide dogs themselves, their impact is huge—and I want to help them keep changing lives.
This will be my first ever half marathon. I’m not a natural runner, but I’m committed to crossing that finish line for Ivy, and for every child who deserves the freedom to explore the world with confidence.
If you can spare even a small donation, it would mean the world to me—and to Ivy.
Thank you for supporting us.
