Bill Lowe, a trustee of MAF and Ali Chambers, Head of Fundraising are taking part in MAF UK's 10K Runway Run,

At MAF, we want to support every community, however remote, to receive the essentials for life.

We use light aircraft to reach people who are isolated by the barriers of jungles, mountains, and poor roads to serve around 2,000 relief and mission groups.

Every year, MAF carry out many medical evacuation (medevac) flights within the African region, for isolated and vulnerable people who live far from hospitals and in places with no ambulance service. People like Mbola in Madagascar, who had acute kidney failure and had to be flown to the capital for specialist care. Without this life saving flight, she would have almost certainly have died.

Bill and Ali will be running 10K around the runway at Turweston Aerodrome in order to raise vital funds to allow MAF to continue flying medevacs, which save countless lives.
