Story

Thank you so much for coming to my fundraising page! Home is everything.

I aimed to do the walking forty thousand steps during December (ten thousand a day) for Shelter homeless charity with my dog, Freddie.

It’s just under half-way through December 2023, and, Freddie and I have already completed this, walking over one hundred thousand steps together so far!

Times are especially hard this year, with the cost of living crisis affecting us all. If you can just spare a pound or two to sponsor us, it will make a difference to people who need it this winter. Anyone can be pushed into the position of needing a helping hand.

A safe home is a fundamental need and basic moral right. The housing crisis is a national emergency. Right now, thousands of people are trying to get by without a safe place to call home.

Walking daily is so beneficial for physical and mental health. It’s one of the things that helps me manage my chronic illnesses.

Happy holidays,

Alice & Freddie
