Alison's fundraiser for the Charity Killed Women

Team: Team fundraising for Killed Women

Hold Fast Challenge · 22 April 2026

Killed Women is a UK registered charity led by bereaved families who have lost loved ones to male violence. Working alongside violence against women and girls activists, we fight for better protection for women, justice for victims, and strong, compassionate support for bereaved families—especially children whose mothers have been killed. We built Killed Women because we refuse to stand by while another family is shattered. We don’t want sympathy; we want resources, accountability, and real action on the ground to stop the tidal wave of violence and the injustice that follows it through our police, courts, and services. Our message is simple and urgent: raise awareness, change systems, and save lives. Since launching in December 2022, we’ve grown quickly and become a high-profile voice on violence against women and girls. Our work has been covered by BBC News at Six and Ten, BBC Breakfast, the Today programme, Lorraine, The Sun, Grazia, and others. Join our network; stand beside, and support us to amplify survivors’ voices, and help secure justice for those we’ve lost—and ensure safety for those still at risk. Story

A dedicated team from Mace Consult is preparing to take on the HOLDFAST Challenge, an inspiring event run by former Clearance Divers who bring decades of diving experience to the table. This challenge is not just a test of physical endurance; it embodies the rigorous training that clearance divers undergo to cultivate a remarkably strong and positive mindset.

Our team is raising funds in support of "Killed Women," a UK-based organisation formed by families who have tragically lost loved ones to fatal violence perpetrated by men. This charity plays a crucial role in supporting bereaved families, advocating for justice, and campaigning for systemic change aimed at better protecting women and girls. Through their unwavering commitment to awareness, advocacy, and engagement with policymakers and institutions, Killed Women ensures that the voices of victims and their families are heard loud and clear. They contribute significantly to long-term efforts focused on preventing violence and safeguarding future generations.

By participating in the HOLDFAST Challenge on April 22, 2026, we aim not only to support this important cause but also to raise awareness about the pressing issue of violence against women and girls. We invite you to join us in this mission. Your generous contributions will help us reach our fundraising target, enabling Killed Women to continue their work in protecting lives and strengthening justice across the UK. Together, we can make a difference.
