Story

Do you want to join me in making a difference?

I'm raising money in aid of Pendleside Hospice and every donation will help. I have seen the help and support that this place has given to many of my friends and colleagues families in their time of need and after. I will be taking part in an event where I travel on the Velocity 2 zip line in Wales

Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

More information about Pendleside Hospice:

Pendleside Hospice provides care and support to people in the Burnley & Pendle area that have been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness. Care is provided free of charge to anyone that needs it either within our Hospice building at Reedley, out in the community or within a patients own home.

Care and support is extended to the patients family and carers.

Pendleside Hospice is a not-for-profit organisation which exists to provide services that enhance the quality of life for local people living with advancing, long term and life limiting illnesses, through to end of life and in bereavement. Pendleside expects to incur total running costs of around £5.5 million during financial year 2023/2024. With approximately 22% of these costs being funded through NHS grants, the charity needs to raise around £4.3 million from other sources in order to cover the balance of anticipated annual expenses.
