Story
On Thursday 24th September 2026, the Aluminium Federation (ALFED) is hosting its Annual Dinner at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Stratford-upon-Avon. As part of this special industry event, we are proud to support The Outward Bound Trust as our official charity partner for 2026.
Since 1941, The Outward Bound Trust has helped young people develop the confidence, resilience and self-belief they need to thrive. Through challenging outdoor adventures and experiential learning programmes delivered across six residential centres in the UK, the charity enables young people to discover strengths they never knew they had and realise that anything is possible.
Every Outward Bound course combines expert instruction, inspiring natural environments and structured reflection to create lasting personal growth. Young people leave with greater confidence, stronger leadership skills, increased resilience and renewed belief in their own potential, qualities that benefit them throughout their education, careers and lives.
At ALFED, we recognise the importance of investing in future generations and creating opportunities for young people to develop the skills, mindset and determination needed to succeed. By supporting The Outward Bound Trust, we can help more young people access these life-changing experiences, regardless of their background or circumstances.
We invite our members, partners, guests and the wider aluminium community to join us in making a difference. Every donation, large or small, will help The Outward Bound Trust continue its vital work and reach more young people across the UK.
Please donate today and help inspire the next generation to believe in themselves, overcome challenges and achieve more than they ever thought possible.
Thank you for your support.
