Support Amber make children’s hospital stays brighter @ Russell’s Hall

Worcester City Run 2025 · 14 September 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
This September, I’ll be taking on the challenge of running a half marathon and I’ve chosen to raise funds for the Children’s Appeal at Russells Hall Hospital. Having only started running with a Couch to 5K program last September, this will be a huge personal challenge—but one I’m excited to take on for a cause so close to our hearts.
Each year, Russells Hall Hospital’s children’s services support over 23,000 young patients, many of whom face scary and difficult hospital stays. The Children’s Appeal helps provide play and learning resources to make their time in hospital a little brighter, offering distraction and comfort when they need it most.
This is especially important to our family, as our son Hudson has had a number of hospital stays in the past 2 years due to recurring bronchiolitis/RSV, including a scary week in the High Dependency Unit. During his recovery, we saw firsthand how essential playrooms, activities, and toys are in keeping children engaged and at ease during difficult times.
I’m aiming to raise £150 to help fund more of these vital resources. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help provide comfort, distraction, and joy to young patients at Russells Hall Hospital.
If you’d like to support me, please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser. Your kindness means the world to us and to the many families who will benefit from these resources.
Thank you so much for your support!
