On the 6th April 2025 I will be running the London Landmark Half Marathon to raise money and raise awareness for Anaphylaxis Uk.

In March 2024 at the age of 20, out of the blue I experienced a frightening Anaphylactic reaction caused by half a Brazil nut resulting in me now having to carry 2 Epi Pens everywhere I go.

Anaphylaxis UK has provided support and useful information to help me manage my allergy .Therefore, I am hoping to raise £350 + to support this amazing charity!

In the UK, 1-2% of adults and 5-8% of children have a food allergy; this equates to nearly 3 million people. Hospital admissions due to allergies and anaphylaxis in England have nearly doubled in the last twenty years, and 20% of serious allergic reactions to food happen whilst a child is at school.

Anaphylaxis UK is the only UK-wide charity operating solely for the growing numbers of people at risk of serious allergic reactions and anaphylaxis. For 30 years, they have been striving for a brighter and safer future for everyone living with a serious allergy by providing trusted and scientifically-based resources and training to individuals and families, education settings, businesses, and healthcare professionals.
